Chiropractic adjustments are most effective when done in conjunction with other techniques and therapies, including active exercises. When you come into one of our six convenient locations, you will work with one of our experienced doctors who will develop a personalized plan that addresses your pain, symptoms, and any other areas of concern. In most cases, this customized plan will include passive modalities as well as active exercises.
The idea behind this is that active exercises are meant to restore functionality quicker and help the patient build strength, gain confidence, and be less afraid of activity. By performing active exercises per your doctor’s recommendation and seeking other chiropractic services at Premier Injury Clinics of DFW, you will have a much higher chance of improving your quality of life.
In years past, it was believed that “taking it easy” was the answer to getting over certain ailments and conditions. Over time, we have learned that this is not the case. Being active and resuming your daily activities as soon as possible yields much better results.
At Premier Injury Clinics of DFW, our team of professionals are here to help you achieve just that. We believe in taking a goal-oriented approach to each and every client and will work with you to develop a plan that not only addresses your injuries, pain, and other symptoms, but fits your lifestyle. Active exercises are an integral aspect of this plan, and one that we are happy to discuss with you in more detail.
Benefits of Active Exercises
As we age, it is completely normal for changes in your spine to take place. Additionally, if you were in a car, boat, motorcycle, or any other type of accident, there’s a good chance your musculoskeletal structure has been compromised. When this happens, it results in debilitating pain and can have a dramatic impact on an individual’s happiness and overall quality of life. When used in conjunction with spinal adjustments and passive modalities, active exercises can speed up your recovery and allow you to take control of your health.
The treatment program that will work best for you will depend on a host of factors, including your age, health, lifestyle, and the type of injuries you’ve sustained. It is imperative that you go into an active exercise program with an open mind and the desire to stay committed. The only way these therapies will help you feel better is if you stay true to the plan and your own intentions. At Premier Injury Clinics of DFW, we believe in working closely with our patients. We always have at least two doctors on hand at each of our clinics, offer extended hours Monday through Saturday, and have an independent medical doctor who comes to our clinics daily to visit with our injured patients for further evaluation and recommendations. We are dedicated to you and will try our best to ensure you make a full recovery from your injuries.
We also offer attorney referrals (if requested), doctor referrals, and diagnostic imaging referrals for MRIs, CTs, and other tests. All of our chiropractors work closely with pain management doctors, neurologists, and orthopedic specialists. Premier Injury Clinics of DFW has locations in Dallas, Mesquite, Desoto, Fort Worth, Arlington, and Farmers Branch. Please give us a call or stop by one of our locations today to learn more about how we integrate active exercises with our treatment plans.
